He waited a long time for this day... The last time that Tobias Grünenfelder stood on the World Cup podium was four years ago. Finally he was able to celebrate another success in the Super G in Kvitfjell. And how!
Four drivers were present on the podium during the award ceremony. How did that happen? Tobias Grünenfelder passed the goal in the same time frame as Aksel Lund Svindal. They shared third place, with only a one hundredth of a second winning margin over the fourth-placed Mario Scheiber. Winner of the race was the Canadian, Erik Guay, and second place went to Hannes Reichelt from Austria.
