What a thriller... Tina Maze doubles her silver by landing 2nd in the giant slalom as a follow-up to her silver medal victory in the Super G!
What an exciting race. Tina Maze demonstrates nerves of steel and comes in second only four hundredths of a second behind the gold medal winner Viktoria Rebensburg (GER). Bronze went to the Austrian Elisabeth Görgl.
But this is not the only sensation: The second silver medal for Tina Maze means medal No. 5 for Stöckli!
Lots of bad luck for Fabienne Suter
Although her second run was good, Fabienne Suter again missed a podium spot and had to be satisfied with a frustrating 4th place. Considering her 5th place in the downhill and 6th place in the super combination, it meant another bitter disappointment for this personable lady from Canton Schwyz.
