Approximately 45'000 pairs of skis are produced each year at our production facility in Malters, Switzerland.

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, well-founded tests, 70 years of ski manufacturing know-how and years of experience gained in professional World Cup racing, further development of Stöckli skis is a continuous process.

Production Process

001 PREPARATION - running surface coating

 

002 PREPARATION - welding machine for coatings

 

003 PREPARATION - the core of the ski

 

004 PREPARATION - applying glue coating to laminates

 

005 CNC MILL - computer operated milling machine

 

006 CNC MILL - side-milling of titanial consistent with side-cuts

 

007 SCREEN PRINTING - each ski gets a serial number

 

008 SCREEN PRINTING - graphics are applied to each ski through a silkscreen process

 

009 THERMOSUBLIMATION PROCESS - colour transfer on carrier material

 

010 PREPARATION PRESSING - layer by layer the laminates are inserted into the mould

 

011 PRESSING - skis are baked using a ski press with high - uniform pressure

 

012 PRESSING - pressing last approx. 25 minutes at 135°C

 

013 GRINDING - stone grinding der running surface

 

014 GRINDING - Swiss precision tuning of edges and surface coating

 

015 FINISHING - waxing and sealing the surface coatings

 

016 FINISHING - quality control

 

017 FINISHING - each ski is packaged individually - ready to go on sale
